D. Shneer - Soviet photographer Evgeny Khaldei was one of many Jewish photographers who photographed the building of Stalinism and its near destruction during World War II. Shneer investigates this little known phenomenon of Soviet Jewish photographers documenting the war and the Holocaust for the Soviet and global reading populations. [ more ]
